Top Must-Haves: - BA needs to know APIs - documentation is primarily API related
- Work w/ tech teams, liaise
- Developer portal exp is a bonus, but technical requirement gathering is the baseline
- Communication is extremely important
- doesn't need someone pushy. Sudhar doesn't need rockstars, needs someone to gel w/ team and get work done. Would rather someone open to coaching rather than someone who thinks they have every solution. Collaborative person, be a partner to the business and tech groups.
- Technical enough - have the experience of bridging gap between bus and technology. Bus wants x, needs someone who can analyze things, not just say yes or no
- Years of experience: at least a mid level, doesn't need someone super senior. 7-8 years is target YOE, 5's a little light
Team is totally offshore, bus on product side

KeyBank is actively enhancing and expanding its
Developer Portal, a platform used by
fintech partners and commercial clients to access and integrate with KeyBank's
APIs. The portal supports external developers by providing documentation, API specifications, onboarding tools, and technical guidance for connecting to Key's banking services.
This is an
ongoing, iterative enhancement project where new features, improvements, and refinements to API documentation and portal usability are continuously being developed.
Because the work directly supports both business stakeholders and offshore development teams, the BA serves as a critical bridge ensuring technical accuracy, API clarity, and alignment between product needs and engineering capabilities.
