About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack .NET Software Engineer to join our Mail and Print Operations technology team. This group supports more than 10 applications responsible for printing, scanning, and processing shipping labels. You will specialize in one to two applications, driving modernization, cloud migration, and ongoing production support.
This is a hands-on engineering role involving full-stack development, cloud architecture, vulnerability remediation, and Agile delivery. You will collaborate with a U.S.-based engineering team of approximately 12 members.
What You'll Do- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of .NET-based applications supporting mail, print, and shipping operations.
- Implement and maintain RESTful Web APIs and backend services.
- Support cloud migration efforts, including containerization and modernization of legacy systems.
- Perform vulnerability assessment, remediation, and secure coding practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
- Support evening release cycles when required for assigned applications.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and automation tooling.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex engineering challenges, analyzing variable factors and recommending solutions.
Minimum Qualifications- 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, or equivalent via work, military service, education, or training.
- 5-8 years total engineering experience, with core skills used within the past 4 years.
Required Technical Skills- 3+ years:
- .NET Core
- Angular
- Web API / REST API development
- Agile development methodology
- 2+ years:
- SQL / SQL Server
- Autosys
- Cloud platforms (OpenShift strongly preferred)
- Google Apigee
- Containerization / Cloud-native modernization
- 1+ year:
- Kafka platform experience
- Additional Knowledge:
- Understanding of AI technologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Experience supporting or migrating legacy systems
Nice-to-Have Skills- Google Apigee
- Kafka
- OpenShift container platform
- HackerRank or Glider assessment experience
- Ability to convert to full-time without sponsorship
Team & Work Environment- U.S.-based engineering team of ~12 members
