Commissions Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Commissions Analyst for a remote contract role through the end of the year.

Summary:
Our client is seeking a Commissions Analyst to support a high-volume sales compensation function during a critical year-end period. This role will focus on commission calculations, data validation, reporting, and sales compensation support, while helping maintain day-to-day operations during a compensation system transition.

Responsibilities:
* Commissions Analyst will perform monthly commission calculations and payout processing
* Conduct data validation, reconciliations, and quality assurance reviews
* Analyze large datasets to ensure compensation accuracy and compliance with compensation plans
* Support Salesforce reporting, data maintenance, and cleanup activities
* Respond to sales representative and leadership inquiries regarding commissions, quotas, and attainment
* As a Commissions Analyst, you will assist with incentive compensation platform implementation and transition efforts
* Support ongoing sales compensation operations and process improvements
* Partner with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, and leadership stakeholders to resolve compensation-related issues

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of Sales Compensation, Variable Compensation, or Commission Analyst experience
* Salesforce reporting and data management experience
* Experience supporting sales organizations and compensation programs
* Strong understanding of quotas, OTE, commission plans, attainment metrics, and sales compensation principles
* Advanced Excel skills with experience analyzing and reconciling large datasets
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and quickly take ownership of responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Xactly or similar incentive compensation platforms
* Revenue Operations or Sales Operations experience
* Financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or compensation analysis experience supporting sales teams
* Experience with compensation system implementations or transitions
* Background working in lean, fast-paced environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
