In this contingent resource assignment, the Project Manager will consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Project Management. The role requires in-depth evaluation across multiple areas to deliver long-term, large-scale solutions that demand creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical thinking. The PM will provide expertise to senior leadership, strategically engage with client personnel, and contribute to the resolution of highly complex challenges.
Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Project Management experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Connect the dots across workstreams to identify opportunities to improve processes, remove friction, and drive transformation
Lead planning and change management across scope, timeline, and resources
Drive execution and workplan management for DCMS cloud migration workstreams and factories
Maintain workstream milestones, dependencies, and critical path
Manage and control delivery roadmap and execution velocity
Develop communication plans aligned with program communications teams
Lead status reporting and updates using Jira
Document and drive resolution of action items, risks, and mitigations
Escalate issues quickly and perform impact analysis on milestones/outcomes
Create "Go to Green" plans for at-risk or off-track deliverables
Communicate technical delivery to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
