OEM Marketing Specialist-Req 239-1

Location: Austin, TX

 

THE ROLE

The Global OEM Marketing team is responsible for defining the strategy, priorities and marketing programs that support co-marketing efforts with OEM partners. The team works with stakeholders internally and externally, aligning business priorities and building co-marketing strategy, elevating awareness, consideration, and demand of Client PCs powered by AMD. This role will be responsible for supporting Dell-led marketing plans, sales enablement, pre-launch, launch and post launch readiness and key partner marketing deliverables with Dell.

THE PERSON

The candidate will need to be prepared to jump in, take the lead and learn quickly, build relationships with Dell Alliance, Operations and Marketing teams and seek to understand the AMD business, technology, and processes. You are not afraid to ask questions, roll up your sleeves and have a keen eye for details. Clear communication is a quality and building trust with Dell and internal stakeholders is your approach. You deliver what you commit to and are strong in managing multiple projects at the same time. You like to solve problems, be accountable, and have a continuous improvement mindset. You thrive on being highly organized, responsible, and self-motivated to meet challenging timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Own the day-to-day engagement with Dell Alliance and Dell cross functional teams on marketing plans, operations and activations.

·       Collaborate and maintain annual marketing investment plan between AMD and Dell.

·       Manage and track OEM budgets, ensuring funding guidelines stipulated under the contract and terms are executed accordingly.

·       Create, update and track Dell funding via spend analysis.

·       Work effectively with Dell alliances for process optimizations, troubleshooting, and updates.

·       Define, develop and maintain processes for reviewing marketing plans alongside Dell leads for Commercial and Consumer.

·       Be a subject matter expert providing marketing and solutions support for both internal and external marketing programs.

·       Maintain a dashboard of activities and manage marketing funds.

·       Build and maintain competitive marketing landscape overview.

·       Drive disciplined tracking of regional execution with KPIs tied to measurable marketing-funded outcomes.

·       Maintain quarterly Hero Programs initiative, including nominations, tracking, KPI reporting and rollout.

·       Setup, negotiation and implementation of program operation processes in alignment with Dell’s Operation Process.

·       Work with internal teams across OEM Marketing, Legal, Finance, Marketing Ops, Sales to drive overall marketing partner efficiency.

·       Put together all Dell-led sales enablement and marketing assets for Commercial and Consumer.

·       Define, create and maintain project timelines ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.

·       Develop comprehensive global calendar capturing key events, product launches, and major milestones.

·       Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.

·       Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.

·       Create strong links and relationships across AMD cross functional teams.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

·       Strong background in business planning, project management and marketing fundamentals.

·       Understanding of OEM marketing and sales structure.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
