Contract Deployment Technician, Job Description
As a Contract Deployment Technician (CDT), you will collaborate with a talented team and dive into challenging technical problems to meet tight deadlines at scale. This job requires a unique combination of flexibility, creativity, and technical deployment skills. This is a traveling inclusive role. You will travel to locations in North America. The amount of travel will depend on the site you are assigned (can range anywhere from 75%-100%). CDTs will travel to an assigned site to be promptly onsite Monday morning. CDTs are expected to leave Fridays (or as assigned/requested).
*Customer has a strict policy to limit excess travel so it important to be flexible around an assignment as well as be open to travel to any site (this also means remain local if more cost effective). Expenses will be reimbursed at the end of the month and timely submission of expenses is required.
Basic qualifications:
5+ years of industry experience (Construction, low voltage, security installation, cabling, telecom, hardware technician, deployment & implementation)
Must have a valid driver license in the United States
Ability to work independently and within large teams in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage onsite relationships with multiple internal and external teams during the onsite implementation of the system
Ability to manage competing priorities (prioritize tasks throughout the day)
Ability to be adaptable and flexible (open to change and being able to keep your head on a swivel)
Proven record of driving success and delivering results by removing barriers
Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with a talented team (the ability to solve problems and escalate issues when needed)
Familiarity with fast growing companies and the associated deadlines and culture that goes along with launching new products and systems

While it is important to follow the guidelines of your end client,
it is also important to follow guidelines set forth by TEKsystems, which includes but is not limited to:
o Entering timecards/overtime hours in a timely manner
o Completing expense reports in a timely fashion (policy to be reviewed upon hire)
o Completing progress reports when they are due
If you have any questions in regard to your contract and/HR components, you must bring to your TEKsystems Engagement Manager and recruiter to ensure a quick and correct response (customer is not your employer)
The individual in this role must be capable of standing for 75% of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and walking long distances. This position involves extensive physical activity due to the nature of the technical environment supported.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
