Job Description

We are seeking a Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting Energy Operations and Distribution Technology. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading multiple concurrent, large-scale technology implementations across supply chain, distribution, energy, manufacturing, and operational environments and a proven ability to deliver enterprise initiatives on time and within budget while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and enabling measurable operational outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business objectives and operational requirements into clear project scope, plans, milestones, success measures, and governance.


• Develop and maintain integrated project plans using hybrid delivery methods across two concurrent initiatives.


• Coordinate application, integration, data, infrastructure, security, testing, training, deployment, and operational-readiness workstreams.


• Manage project resource demand, schedule dependencies, critical-path activities, and competing priorities.


• Partner with supply chain, distribution, customer service, finance, operations, and IT stakeholders to align processes and delivery outcomes.


• Lead implementation planning while minimizing disruption to day-to-day business activities.


• Own project financial management, including forecasts, commitments, actuals, variance analysis, and financial reporting.


• Identify, track, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues, including cutover, data, integration, adoption, and operational continuity risks.


• Define and publish concise, data-driven metrics, dashboards, and executive status reporting.


• Coordinate organizational change, communications, documentation, training, and transition-to-support activities.


• Ensure adherence to established enterprise delivery standards, governance, and applicable safety, security, architecture, and compliance requirements.


• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Direct leadership of at least two large-scale supply chain, distribution, logistics, terminal, manufacturing, or operational technology implementations, including concurrent initiatives.


• 10+ years in professional services consulting and/or IT program or project management delivering large, complex, multi-million-dollar initiatives.


• Proven management of scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, change control, testing, training, and deployment from initiation through delivery.


• Experience operating in a matrixed, multi-business-unit enterprise and coordinating teams of 10 or more resources.


• Delivery experience across complex application and integration landscapes, including infrastructure, information security, data, and enterprise architecture.


• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience delivering technology in energy, distribution, terminal, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar operational environments.


• Working knowledge of ERP-centric environments.


• PMI PMP certification.


• Certified ScrumMaster or comparable Agile certification.


• Experience managing delivery with third-party vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators.


• Experience leading strong-matrix teams composed of employees and contractors.


• Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority in a decentralized organization.


• Comfort operating in ambiguous and evolving environments.


• Experience with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tools.
