Duration: Long Term W2 Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst with experience in the automotive and/or retail industry to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, leveraging domain expertise to drive process improvements, data-driven decisions, and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Work closely with IT, product, and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Support system enhancements, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (BRDs, FRDs, process maps, reports).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Hands-on experience in the automotive and/or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of business processes such as supply chain, inventory management, sales, or customer experience.
• Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP, CRM, or POS systems.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms or dealership management systems.
• Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related credentials.
• Familiarity with API integrations and system workflows.
