Job Details

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team supporting the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). This is a long-term contract role based onsite in Downtown Phoenix. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure components that support the MAX operation-ADOT's core system for title, registration, and driver services. The applications are built in .NET and run entirely on Azure.

This role is part of a 12-person infrastructure team, including four senior engineers focused on Azure. The team is expanding as other states begin onboarding the same platform. The position involves hands-on DevOps administration, release management, automation, and development support. Candidates must be comfortable working in a customer-facing environment and participating in after-hours deployments.

Contract Duration: 12 - 24 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Azure DevOps Server administration
  • CI/CD pipeline creation and management
  • PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Application configuration (Azure App Config, ADO Library)
  • Repo administration (TFVC)
  • Troubleshooting build/code merge failures
  • .NET Core 2.x, .NET 6, .NET Framework 4.x.x
  • Angular (various versions), NuGet
  • Azure services: App Config, Key Vault, App Services, Virtual Machines
  • IAM: Service Principals, App Registrations, Enterprise Applications
  • DevOps leadership and release management
  • After-hours deployment support
  • Change management and DevOps migrations/upgrades
  • Project management experience

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with DevSecOps initiatives
  • Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)
  • Experience with Visual Studio and VS Code
  • Migration from TFVC to Git-based repositories
  • Azure DevOps Server upgrade (2020 ? 2022)
  • Build server creation and code migration upgrades
  • Automation opportunity identification and implementation
