Senior Program Manager - TMS/Cargowise

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Program Manager -TMS/Cargowise in Elkridge, MD.

Core Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Project Ownership: Lead the full lifecycle of complex IT projects, from initial scoping and vendor selection to Go-Live and hyper-care
* TMS Implementation/Optimization: Oversee the deployment or upgrade of TMS platforms (e.g., Cargo wise & World track), ensuring alignment with global logistics strategies
* Integration Strategy: Manage the technical roadmap for connecting internal ERPs/WMS with external carrier networks via EDI, API, and iPaaS solutions
* AI & Automation Roadmap: Identify and execute projects involving Machine Learning for predictive ETAs, route optimization, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for back-office freight auditing
* Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Navigate relationships between C-suite executives, third-party software vendors, and offshore development teams
* Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify technical debt or integration bottlenecks that could delay shipments or impact data integrity

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree
* 10+ years in IT project management
* Agile
* Experience with integration of middleware
* Experience delivering projects involving AI driven demand

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
