Seeking a senior-level PeopleSoft FSCM General Ledger Business Analyst with extensive experience supporting financial system upgrades, implementations, and business process improvements. This role requires expertise in state government accounting, requirements gathering, testing, stakeholder engagement, and financial systems analysis. Candidates with CAPPS Financials experience and strong communication skills are highly preferred. Remote opportunity with potential for future hybrid work.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and identify solutions to support financial system enhancements and upgrades.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Document business processes, functional requirements, and system specifications.
- Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Conduct hands-on system testing and support multiple testing cycles.
- Prepare training materials and assist with user adoption activities.
- Perform dual-system reconciliation and support financial data validation efforts.
- Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support implementation and upgrade initiatives.
- Support concurrent projects while ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting PeopleSoft FSCM implementation or upgrade projects with a focus on General Ledger and Commitment Accounting.
8+ years of experience with state government accounting practices.
8+ years of experience creating business analysis deliverables including requirements, process documentation, testing documentation, and training materials.
8+ years of experience conducting end-to-end system testing.
8+ years of experience presenting information to business stakeholders in formal settings.
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
