Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
ServiceNow Application Workflow Developer for a
CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier
Financial Services clients in
Dallas, TX or Salt Lake City, UT. This role requires a senior ServiceNow Application Workflow Developer who can design, build, and scale workflow automation solutions across a complex enterprise technology environment. The ideal candidate brings deep ServiceNow platform expertise, strong integration and automation experience, and the ability to improve operational reliability while supporting enterprise standards, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities :
- Support business automation through scalable ServiceNow workflow development & custom application build.
- Increase automation, integration maturity, and platform reliability across enterprise technology processes.
- Ensure solutions are built with strong governance, documentation, testing, and operational readiness.
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- Senior ServiceNow developer with 8+ years of platform development and implementation experience.
- Strong technical depth across custom scoped applications, workflow automation, integrations, dashboards, reports, and enterprise platform enhancements.
- Comfortable working across the full SDLC, including design, build, testing, deployment, upgrades, documentation, and production support.
- Able to operate independently in a global, fast-paced environment while partnering effectively with technology, operations, and senior stakeholders.
- Advanced ServiceNow development expertise, including Flow Designer, ACLs, APIs, update sets, import sets, transformations, ATF, clones, and upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SDK, scoped applications, metadata transformation, and deployment through VS Code or similar development tools.
- Strong integration capabilities using REST APIs, MID Server, CMDB, discovery, asset management, and third-party libraries.
- Ability to leverage modern developer tools, including Now Assist for Creator or similar AI-enabled capabilities, to accelerate development and workflow automation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks, issues, and solutions into leadership-ready updates.

- Financial Service domain knowledge whilst, not a pre-requisite is desirable
