Job Details
This is a full-time, IT Manager opportunity with a well-established healthcare organization located in Charlotte, NC (hybrid). This role is highly hands-on and responsible for owning and supporting all core infrastructure across the organization. The environment includes Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization, backups, security, and end-user systems, supporting both clinical and corporate operations in a regulated healthcare setting.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
Solid networking knowledge (switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
Virtualization experience (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment (HIPAA preferred)
Ability to manage vendors, MSPs, and third-party providers
Desired Skills & Experience
Healthcare IT experience (EHR/EMR exposure a plus)
Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD and hybrid environments
Security tooling experience (EDR, MFA, patching, vulnerability management)
Project management experience for infrastructure upgrades or migrations
Prior experience growing or mentoring an IT team
