Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Security Technicians to support installation, maintenance, and repair of access control, alarm systems, CCTV, and low-voltage cabling on commercial projects. This is a hands-on role for technicians with strong installation experience, particularly in access control. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
What You'll Do- Drill holes in studs, joists, ceilings, and floors for system wiring
- Pull, route, and terminate Cat5/Cat6 cabling through walls, attics, crawl spaces, and other pathways
- Install, maintain, and repair access control, alarm systems, CCTV, and related hardware
- Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and wall cavities to fixture locations
- Mount and secure control panels, sensors, cameras, and contacts
- Install and fasten conduits, raceways, and cable support systems
- Test and troubleshoot circuits, sensors, backup batteries, sirens, keypads, and other system components
- Perform basic networking tasks, including assigning IPv4 addresses to devices
- Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and building plans for system layout
- Complete required documentation and project paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environments
- Support additional duties as directed by the project team
What You Bring- 3+ years of low-voltage field experience, including hands-on access control installation
- Strong understanding of security installation, cabling, troubleshooting, and device mounting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical layouts and wiring diagrams
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4
- Effective communication and professionalism with clients and team members
- Dependability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Nice to Have- Experience with larger commercial security deployments
- Familiarity with various access control platforms
- Experience mentoring junior technicians

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Augusta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
