Role: Sr POS Tester

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6-12 Months+

 

 

High Level JD/R&R :

  • Design, build, and scale automation frameworks for POS applications, covering UI, API, services, and critical E2E store workflows.
  • Drive CI/CDintegrated automation, enabling build verification, smoke, sanity, and regression testing with fast, actionable feedback.
  • Lead riskbased test strategy, identifying optimal candidates for automation vs manual testing while balancing speed and reliability.
  • Validate POS systems across store devices, peripherals, payments, loyalty, and thirdparty integrations at scale.
  • Support pilot, regional, and national store rollouts, ensuring compatibility across OS, hardware, and configurations.
  • Enable release readiness and production quality, supporting Go/NoGo decisions, defect triage, and postdeployment validation.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, QA, Product, and Store Ops, mentoring teams and promoting qualityengineering best practices
  • Automation Tools: Playwright/Cypress/Selenium/Or Other
