Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer to be a key resource on a technical services team for the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

Responsibilities
The Software QA Engineer performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section the Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) IT Qualtrics application. Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.
This position will work with the LASO development team to provide the following Software Testing Services:
1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
2) Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
4) Perform manual testing and data validation
5) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
6) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
7) Execute performance and accessibility testing
The LASO group supports and facilitates the implementation of all apps/projects in the LASO application.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
7 years of:
- Years Experience Testing Complex WebApplications
6 years of:
- Years Automation Experience with Java and TestNG
5 years of:
4 years of:
- Years Experience with PlaywrightYear Experience with Workflow Driven Automation
- Year Experience with Workflow Driven Automation
- Years Experience with JMeter/WAPT Pro or other Load Testing tool
3 years of:
- Years Experience with GitHub Copilot Skills
Preferred:
2 years of:
- Previous experience with Zypher Scale preferred
- Previous experience with Jira preferred
- Years Experience working with Texas state government agencies or Texas school systems
- Years Experience working with Grants or In-Kind programs
