Location: San Antonio, Texas (On-site, 5 days/week)
Employment Type: 6 month contract with potential to extend
Role Overview
We are seeking a UI5 Developer for a contract role based in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires working on-site for a minimum of four days per week, with a preference for five days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom applications within an S/4 HANA environment. This role requires the ability to work independently, taking high-level functional designs to create robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build custom UI5 applications with a focus on JavaScript, not Fiori development.
- Work within an S/4 HANA environment to develop and deploy solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to design and analyze solutions.
- Develop modularized ABAP code and handle full lifecycle custom development, including enhancements.
- Resolve system defects identified during the testing phase.
- Adhere to development standards and follow the change management process for application deployment.
- Work independently to deliver on project priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building custom applications with SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Proficiency with Business Application Studio (BAS).
- Experience working in an S/4 HANA environment.
- Strong understanding of modularized ABAP code.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with Gateway Services, OData, and CDS views.
- Experience with Fiori Elements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Git for version control.
- Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.
- Experience extending and integrating new solutions with pre-existing custom solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $90.00/hr to $100.00/hr W2. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and experience.
