Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Avaya Telecom Engineer to support, maintain, troubleshoot, and implement enterprise Avaya telephony systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with installation and configuration of new Avaya systems.
  • Monitor and maintain Avaya environment health, including trunking and adjunct systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Avaya programming and technical support tickets.
  • Provide Tier III support for complex technical issues.
  • Coordinate with telecom service providers to resolve circuit and connectivity issues.
  • Support deployment of new Avaya products and technologies.
  • Prepare technical documentation and train junior-level staff.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience with Avaya systems.
  • Avaya Communication Manager 7.1.3.
  • Avaya Session Manager 7.1.3.
  • Avaya Call Management System (CMS) R18.
  • Avaya System Manager 7.1.3.
  • Avaya Workforce Optimization 15.2.
  • Experience with Avaya G650, G450, and G430 equipment.
  • Experience with Spira SBCs.
  • Strong knowledge of SIP and H.323 protocols.
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, WAN technologies, and QoS.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and technical support skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • BroadSoft Hosted VoIP products.
  • Python scripting and automation.
