Oracle Fusion Functional Test Analyst (ERP / Financials Track)

Scope of Coverage

·        Financials & Accounting: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP - including invoice OCR/IDR), Cash Management / Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, and Expenses & P-Card.

·        Procurement & Supply Chain: Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, and Supplier Portal.

·        Project & Grant Management: Projects and Grants Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

·        Test Scripting & Design: Author comprehensive, step-by-step functional test scenarios and test scripts based on business requirements, functional design documents, and Oracle Fusion configurations.

·        Execution & Lifecycle Testing: Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), regression suites, and end-to-end business process flows across all financial and procurement workstreams.

·        Workflows & Security: Validate multi-level approval hierarchies, automated workflows, custom security profiles, and segregation of duties (SoD).

·        Reporting & Analytics: Test custom OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher operational and financial reports for data accuracy and layout integrity.

·        Defect Management: Log, retest, and track defects using enterprise defect tracking tools; collaborate with functional consultants and developers to perform root-cause analysis.

·        UAT Support: Assist client business users, accounting staff, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution and scenario sign-off.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Must-Have:

·        Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Oracle functional testing experience in ERP / Financials modules.

·        Fusion Experience: Hands-on functional testing experience on at least 1 full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation.

·        Legacy Knowledge: Working knowledge and background with legacy Oracle EBS financial and procurement processes.

·        Testing Expertise: Proven experience building detailed functional test cases, test matrices, and executing structured manual/functional test suites.

Nice-to-Have:

·        Direct experience on an Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration project.

·        Experience in Public Sector, Government, Utilities, or Grants Accounting environments.

·        Exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Opkey, Tricentis Tosca, Selenium).
