Job Title: Oracle Fusion (PPM) Projects & Engineering Lead

Role Overview
Accountable for design, configuration, and go-live of Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules - Project Financials, Project Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Resource Management. Covers capital investment programs, R&D engineering projects, and customer contract delivery. Also responsible for the engineering process scope in Austria, India, and Poland - three countries requiring PPM and engineering configuration beyond standard Finance modules.
What You Will Do
- PPM configuration: Own Oracle Fusion PPM configuration including Project Financials, Project Costing, Capital Projects, Expenditure Types, Burdening, and Project Billing; run design workshops with Finance and Engineering teams.
- Capital project tracking: Design capital project lifecycle management including EAC forecasting, capitalisation rules, CIP accounting, and asset creation integration with Fixed Assets.
- Engineering scope: Configure engineering-specific process requirements for Austria, India, and Poland; ensure PPM supports engineering project tracking, resource allocation, and cost reporting in these countries.
- Data conversion: Define project data conversion strategy for active capital and revenue projects; validate FBDI specifications for PPM domains; manage open project balance conversion from EBS.
- Fixed Assets integration: Confirm project-to-asset capitalisation workflow with the Finance / R2R Lead; validate CIP-to-Fixed Asset transfer logic in user acceptance testing.
- Reporting: Own PPM reporting in Oracle Analytics Cloud; define project KPI dashboards for a Finance and Engineering leadership.
What Good Looks Like
- PPM design approved by Finance and Engineering leads before design freeze.
- Capital project EAC forecasting validated in UAT with Finance sign-off.
- Engineering scope for Austria, India, and Poland configured and UAT-signed-off before their wave go-live.
- Open project balance conversion completed with business data owner sign-off before Wave 1 cutover.
What You Need to Have Done Before
- 15+ years of Oracle ERP with at least 5 years in Oracle Fusion PPM.
- Hands-on capital project accounting, CIP, and asset capitalization on Oracle Fusion.
- Understanding of engineering project management and EAC forecasting.
- Experience converting project data from Oracle EBS to Fusion.
