Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Workday HR SME in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as subject matter expert for Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking
* Lead Workday configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization
* Manage and troubleshoot integrations with payroll, benefits, learning, and third-party systems (core connectors and custom Studio integrations)
* Configure security, business processes, notifications, and user access to meet business requirements
* Develop and execute test plans; Investigate and resolve escalated issues using root-cause analysis and impact-based prioritization
* Partner with HR and business leaders to gather requirements, map processes, and translate needs into functional solutions
* Identify and implement automation and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
* Ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, SOX, GDPR), support audits and reporting, and lead Workday implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and vendor coordination

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, or related field
* Relevant certifications preferred (Workday Pro, PMP/Agile, SHRM-SCP, HRCI)
* 5-8+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials; ADP experience a plus
* Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, data governance, and regulated environments
* Proven ability to define business processes, translate requirements, and support testing and documentation
* Experience supporting Workday implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
* Ability to manage complex initiatives independently and influence cross-functional stakeholders
* Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and business-facing skills
* Experience in medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
