Windows 11 Deployment Technician

Overview
Our client is seeking Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale Windows 11 upgrade initiative while assisting with general service desk workload. This role is ideal for hands-on IT professionals with strong desktop support experience and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

• Support enterprise-wide Windows 11 upgrade efforts, including device preparation, imaging, deployment, and post-upgrade troubleshooting
• Provide desktop support for hardware, software, and operating system issues in both onsite and remote environments
• Perform device imaging, configuration, and software installation to ensure systems are ready for deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical issues related to workstations, peripherals, and applications
• Assist with service desk operations by handling tickets, documenting resolutions, and escalating issues as needed
• Deliver strong customer service by communicating clearly with end users and ensuring a smooth upgrade experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in help desk or service desk support environments
• Strong customer service and end-user communication skills
• Hands-on experience with desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Experience with imaging and deploying PCs in an enterprise environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting or executing Windows 11 upgrades or OS migration projects
• Familiarity with standard deployment tools and processes (SCCM, Intune, or similar)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with changing priorities

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Salina, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
