Full-time remote contract · Zoho CRM Technical Lead Developer / Zoho One · Deluge · REST integrations
Purpose of the Position
The Zoho CRM Technical Lead is a senior Zoho CRM developer who will play a key role in the technical implementation and ongoing enhancement of current Zoho CRM platform. This is a hands-on development role focused on architecting, building, integrating, and maintaining Zoho CRM and Zoho One solutions that serve both employees and students. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and our Zoho implementation partner, this role delivers complex technical solutions involving data models, automation, integrations, custom development, and deployment. The ideal candidate can independently deliver assigned technical workstreams with minimal oversight and contribute deep Zoho development and integration expertise throughout the project.

What You''ll Do
Architecture & Data Modeling: Design and maintain the Zoho CRM schema, including modules, layouts, relationships, roles, profiles, and sharing rules, and develop data models that scale as CRM expands from career services to the full employee and student population.
Custom Development: Build custom functions, workflows, Blueprints, and validation logic in Deluge; develop Widgets and Canvas/Kiosk experiences using the Zoho SDK, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Integrations: Design and implement integrations between Zoho CRM and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, custom functions, OAuth, and middleware; address authentication, error handling, retry logic, and data-sync reliability.
Automation & Orchestration: Implement automation across the Zoho One suite, including Creator, Analytics, Data Prep, and Flow, and orchestrate multi-system processes, including telephony and CTI integrations such as Genesys.
Environment & Release Management: Manage sandbox-to-production promotion, version control of configuration and code, rigorous testing, and controlled deployments; establish CI/CD-style release discipline where feasible.
Performance, Security & Data Quality: Monitor API usage and limits, tune performance, enforce security and access controls, and safeguard data integrity and quality across integrated systems.
Requirements & Technical Documentation: Gather and document complex requirements, translate them into actionable Zoho best-practice designs, and produce technical specifications, solution documentation, and user stories.
Technical Collaboration: Provide technical expertise on complex development activities, collaborate with other Zoho CRM professionals, and promote consistent development standards and best practices throughout the project.
Stakeholder Support: Provide clear technical communication and support to business stakeholders for existing Zoho tools and vendor integrations and build strong working relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.
