Pay Rate: $30-$36 per hour
On-Call: Approximately once every 12 weeks, 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Overview
We are expanding our IT operations and adding an IT Support Analyst to the Windsor, CO field office. This role provides hands-on technology support to field operations with a strong emphasis on customer service, responsiveness, and cross-team collaboration. You will serve as the local onsite presence for IT in Windsor while working closely with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Networking, and Information Security teams across the company.
This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys fast-paced work, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to support a wide variety of technologies in an energy field environment.
What You Will Do
Field Office and Service Desk Support
- Serve as the primary onsite IT support contact for the Windsor field office.
- Respond to support requests through phone, email, walk-ups, and the ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, Windows OS, networking, and mobile devices.
- Image and configure PCs for new users or hardware replacements.
- Perform routine maintenance on PCs and printers.
- Handle account unlocks, password resets, domain joins, and basic user administration.
- Utilize SCCM for software deployment and configuration.
- Escalate critical issues to Infrastructure, Networking, and Information Security teams as appropriate.
- Dispatch field service resources for onsite repair needs.
Hands-On Operational Work
- Act as the onsite technical resource for escalated teams when physical presence is required, including networking equipment, infrastructure installations, and security-related support.
- Assist with technology testing, field office equipment checks, and coordination with remote IT teams.
- Provide timely follow-up and resolution of all tickets, ensuring consistent communication with end users.
Team and Department Engagement
- Join a distributed Service Desk team of approximately 14 technicians plus a supervisor across Colorado, Utah, and Texas.
- Attend monthly Denver IT meetings for team collaboration and "Munch and Learn" sessions.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to expand your technical experience and visibility.

What You Bring
- A minimum of 2 years of technical support experience in a Service Desk or desktop support environment.
- Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-volume or urgent situations.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office applications, PC hardware, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Cherwell.
- Familiarity with imaging, SCCM, and routine hardware maintenance.
