We are seeking an experienced
Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, large-scale technical initiatives from conception through delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in technical program management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
As a TPM, you will be responsible for driving program execution, managing risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment across multiple agile teams, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders at all levels. You will play a critical role in enabling continuous integration and delivery while promoting agile best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical programs from initial planning through successful delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project and program plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project and program risks
- Oversee project quality standards through validation and testing processes
- Generate and maintain project forecasts in PM systems, monitoring actuals and analyzing future resource needs
- Facilitate quarterly planning and strategic task coordination across teams
- Provide clear and effective status reporting to stakeholders at multiple levels
- Drive continuous improvement in program management processes, tools, and methodologies
- Manage vendor selection, engagement, and performance
- Advocate for agile principles and promote agile best practices
- Remove impediments and foster collaboration to support continuous integration and delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) leading complex technical projects end-to-end
- Strong background in Technical Program Management with successful delivery of large-scale initiatives
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations
- Expertise in developing detailed project plans (scope, timelines, milestones, resources)
- Strong risk management experience, including mitigation planning
- Proven ability to coordinate resources efficiently across teams
- Experience overseeing project quality standards and validation processes
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in PM processes and tools
- Experience generating and maintaining forecasts, tracking actuals, and analyzing resource needs
- Expertise in vendor management and selection
- Proficiency with JIRA and Smartsheet
- Strong advocate for agile methodologies with hands-on experience advancing agile practices
- Skilled in managing impediments and delivering effective status reporting
- Ability to align and synchronize multiple agile teams toward shared program goals
