Job Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, SQL, REST APIs, and AWS cloud migration and a proven ability to design, build, and modernize high-volume, low-latency trading systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop trading tools and technical solutions for high-volume transaction processing.
- Analyze legacy systems and processes to identify improvements and innovation opportunities.
- Define metrics and KPIs to measure transformation success and report progress to leadership.
- Drive system design and deep-dive existing processes to propose scalable solutions.
- Collaborate across teams to build robust platforms that meet business needs.
- Develop proofs of concept to validate technical feasibility.
- Communicate proactively with management and stakeholders.
- Lead pilot projects to test new technologies and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with strong object-oriented design and enterprise patterns.
- Hands-on development with Python, REST APIs, and SQL/Stored Procedures.
- Experience with AWS and public cloud migration.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AMPS.
- Proven programming and problem-solving skills supporting real-time trading and risk systems, including development, support, and bug fixes.
- Background in complex projects covering system design, testing, and operational stability.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Unix/Linux proficiency and shell scripting.
- Messaging expertise with Kafka.
Additional Details:
- Work location: Plano, TX only.
- Work schedule: Onsite, 5 days in the office.
- Interview process: Two rounds, technical and behavioral. Zoom acceptable.
- Role not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration support.
- Post-conversion grade: 603.
