Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to support post‑acquisition hospital integration initiatives. This role will play a key part in early to mid‑stage integration planning, coordinating multiple workstreams with a strong emphasis on IT systems integration and governance, while maintaining an understanding of clinical operations, financial processes, and hospital governance.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on project management experience within hospital or health system acquisitions, and be comfortable working across technical and operational teams, including IT leadership, clinical stakeholders, and hospital executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate post‑acquisition integration projects across newly acquired hospitals.
- Lead IT systems integration efforts, including system alignment, governance structures, and dependency tracking.
- Oversee multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring timelines, risks, and interdependencies are clearly managed.
- Support early- to mid-stage integration planning, helping define scope, milestones, and integration roadmaps.
- Partner closely with IT leaders, while collaborating with clinical operations, finance, and hospital leadership as needed.
- Facilitate governance forums, status reporting, escalation management, and decision tracking.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, work plans, and executive-level updates.
- Identify risks and issues early and drive resolution in a complex, regulated healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing hospital or healthcare system acquisitions and integrations.
- Strong background in IT system integration projects within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Hands-on project management experience (planning, execution, tracking, issue resolution).
- Understanding of hospital clinical operations, financial workflows, and governance structures.
- Proven experience working with senior IT leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within large, complex health systems.
- Exposure to healthcare regulatory and compliance environments.
- PMP or other project management certification (preferred, not required).
