Location: FULLY REMOTE anywhere in the United States.
Employment Type: 6-month contract with possibility to extend or convert.
Role Overview
Looking for someone to come in and lead projects- Strong project management skills and someone who can "read" the room and the stakeholders.
Hybrid of an analyst, product manager, and project manager.
- Those 3 hats - come assess needs of business team, how to look at it from a business perspective, determine who on the team they need to talk to/recognize the general technological thread, and then from a project, put the needs together, the milestones together and a target for the project. Need to be able to run a meeting (not necessarily put the whole deck together) and report back to management if management is not able to be on the meeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Job Description:
- This team supports enrollment, billing, and payments for the enrollment process application.
- The team supports Marketplace, and we are headed into open enrollment.
- Switching from vendor supported enrollment system to an in-house application (this year, we will be 50/50 on vendor supported app and in-house app).
- Team needs to support infrastructure upgrades and a lot of negotiations with the vendor to continue working with them.
- Day to Day:
- Contractor will be managing projects of mid to large complexity independently.
- Responsible for extrapolating and identifying critical path deliverables, risks, and dependencies for projects as well as project due dates and document plans, process, and status.
- Contractor will be interfacing with vendors, infrastructure team, varied business stakeholders at multiple levels, other application engineering teams, compliance/audit individuals and finance.
- This project is high visibility, and this channel is a big executive dashboard watch project. Good opportunity for people that understand how to talk to the organization at all levels and can be confident in their response
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 4+ years of related experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
Technical Skills:Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management - 2 years
- SQL Query Writing - 1 year
- Postman API testing - 1 year
- 4+ years of business analysis in the Healthcare industry
- Nice to Have:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel and Visio preferred
- Knowledge of data integration, software enhancements/planning and Agile preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $55.00 per hour.
