Job Title: Senior Tableau Consultant (SQL Expertise)
Job Summary:
We''re seeking an experienced Tableau Certified Consultant with strong SQL skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis using Tableau, with expertise in SQL and data modeling. You''ll work with clients to design, develop, and deploy Tableau solutions, providing expertise in data visualization, dashboarding, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex Tableau dashboards and visualizations
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
- Work with clients to understand business requirements and translate into Tableau solutions
- Create and maintain complex data models, calculations, and data blends
- Develop and deploy Tableau Server and Tableau Online solutions
- Provide expertise in data visualization best practices and Tableau features
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence
- Tableau Certified Consultant (TCC) or equivalent certification
- Strong experience with Tableau Desktop, Server, and Online
- Proficiency in SQL (including complex queries, joins, and subqueries)
- Experience with data modeling, data blending, and calculations
- Strong understanding of data architecture and ETL processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau Prep and Tableau CRM
- Knowledge of data warehousing and big data concepts
- Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, QlikView, etc.)
- Certifications in data science or analytics (e.g., Certified Data Scientist)
