Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test responsible for creating and executing test suites for systems that power business applications. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with teams of engineers, product developers, and designers; contribute to complex applications and systems; and influence the innovation of products. You will work within our Enterprise Software Engineering team, building comprehensive automated functional and load test suites to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze software system architectures and designs, developing test strategies to ensure systems perform as expected.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure systems are properly designed for testability.
- Utilize standard tooling to develop automated test suites for assigned web-based applications, with a focus on 100% automation.
- Support the Identity team, focusing on login systems for web and mobile applications.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of industry experience as an Automation Test Engineer or a Software Engineer in Test, creating test harnesses and automated testing suites.
Technical Skills:- Java coding, specifically for writing automation tests.
- API/Backend testing with REST.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
- SQL for database validations (tables, queries, joins).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java RestAssured API, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Postman, and JMeter.
- Secondary experience with Java database testing, Blazemeter, SauceLabs, Jaeger, Grafana, Pingdom, and Docker.
- Working knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub.
- Working knowledge of Mockito or similar technologies.
- Prior industry experience as a Software Engineer in Distributed/Web applications and frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, React).
- Prior experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Google Cloud.

Compensation & Benefits
A compensation range of $50.00 to $60.00 per hour will be offered for this position.
