Hiring: Procurement Specialist I (W2-Contract role)

Location: Irvine, CA 92618 (Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite: Tuesday & Wednesday)

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Work Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM PST

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist I to support purchasing operations, customer service inquiries, vendor communications, and procurement systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, purchasing, procurement support, supply chain operations, and online ordering systems such as Oracle iProcurement.

Responsibilities:

·        Respond to procurement-related inquiries via phone, email, and ServiceNow.

·        Support purchase order processing and issue resolution.

·        Troubleshoot Oracle iProcurement and ordering system issues.

·        Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve account and purchasing concerns.

·        Analyze procurement support data and recommend process improvements.

·        Assist with supplier transitions, testing activities, and procurement projects.

·        Maintain procurement documentation and support end-user training.

·        Provide exceptional customer service while meeting department response timelines.

Required Qualifications:

·        High School Diploma or equivalent.

·        Minimum 2+ years of Customer Service experience.

·        Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or order management functions.

·        Experience with online ordering systems.

·        Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

·        

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Sourcing experience.

·        Healthcare industry experience.

·        Experience with Oracle iProcurement.

·        Experience with ServiceNow or CRM platforms.

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client''''s assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $18 - $22 per hour on W2.
