Project Procurement Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has two openings for a Procurement Project Manager in downtown Houston, TX. This is a yearlong contract with ability to extend and will sit onsite Monday-Thursday with opportunity to work remote on Fridays.

Summary:
This role leads end-to-end project procurement by coordinating cross functional stakeholders, executing competitive and negotiated sourcing strategies, managing supplier agreements, and ensuring alignment with project schedules and company policies.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate project procurement activities across all applicable stakeholders (Legal, Project Management, Business Unit Stakeholders, etc.)
* Develop and execute RFP strategies for project-specific scopes of work and evaluate responses to provide sourcing recommendations to stakeholders
* Develop and execute directly-negotiated SOWs that provide commercial value and meets business unit stakeholder needs
* Manage the negotiation of Master Agreements with suppliers by collaborating with internal legal, environmental, and insurance stakeholders
* Manage weekly meetings with project stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project schedules
* Develop content to gain approvals for sourcing decisions that may include presentations to business unit and/or procurement leadership
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations
* Develops and qualifies new vendors to utilize on portfolio of upcoming projects

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field required
* 5-7 years of experience
* Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage one's time
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple procurement activities
* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
