About the Role We are seeking a qualified
Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer to join our team onsite in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation and formal qualification testing, supporting real-time embedded systems.
Responsibilities - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, and formal qualification testing
- Develop, debug, and maintain embedded real-time software using C/C++
- Support integration of embedded software with hardware platforms and real-time operating systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with program requirements
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities for embedded systems
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field
- 1+ year of experience in embedded C/C++ software development
- 1+ year of experience embedding Linux (or similar OS) on Xilinx UltraScale or comparable platforms
- 1+ year of experience embedding FreeRTOS (or similar RTOS) on PolarFire or comparable platforms
- 1+ year of experience developing device drivers
Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting missile programs or missile telemetry systems
- Experience with hardware/software integration, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), or Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS)
- Experience with algorithm development and implementation, including Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC)
- Familiarity with embedded processors and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
