Seeking a Manager, Financial Data & Analytics to lead a team responsible for delivering high-impact financial and operational insights across the organization. This role will drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics, forecasting, reporting, and dashboard development while ensuring data integrity and governance standards.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, technical analytics expertise, and proven people leadership. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders to develop actionable insights, improve reporting capabilities, and support strategic planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial and data analysts.
- Oversee financial and operational analytics initiatives, including data modeling, reporting, forecasting, and dashboard development.
- Partner with senior business leaders to understand priorities and deliver actionable insights that support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement of analytics processes, reporting frameworks, and visualization capabilities.
- Establish and maintain data governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and resource allocation processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
- Translate complex data into clear business recommendations for executive and operational stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics initiatives with organizational goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators and develop reporting solutions that measure business performance.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- 6-8+ years of experience in financial analytics, FP&A, business analytics, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing analytics teams.
- Strong understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions, including:
- Annual budgeting
- Forecasting
- Capital planning
- Resource allocation
- Advanced experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, particularly Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and presenting findings to leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to build reporting frameworks, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Master''s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in large enterprise or multi-location operating environments.
- Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) certification.
- Experience implementing analytics governance programs or reporting best practices.
- Background supporting operational analytics in addition to financial analytics.
- Experience driving process improvement, automation, and reporting optimization initiatives.
- Exposure to data strategy, data architecture, or enterprise reporting transformations.
Required Experience
- 6-8+ years of progressive experience in financial analytics, business analytics, FP&A, or data analytics.
- Proven experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing business decisions through analytics.
- Demonstrated success translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Experience managing priorities in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Prior people leadership experience preferred, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
