Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a key member of an Agile technology delivery team, this individual will support Merchant capabilities and strategic initiatives. The role involves partnering with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and technical solutions. The successful candidate will lead requirements elicitation, process analysis, data mapping, system interaction analysis, and backlog refinement in a complex ecosystem with numerous integrated applications.
Responsibilities: - Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and technical solutions
- Lead requirements elicitation, process analysis, data mapping, system interaction analysis, backlog refinement, and solution validation activities
- Identify and manage dependencies, facilitate issue resolution, and coordinate deliverables across multiple teams
- Support delivery planning, testing strategy, release readiness, and operational improvements
- Drive conversations across multiple stakeholder groups and take ownership from requirements through delivery
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable solutions
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting technology delivery initiatives
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments using Jira or similar tools, including writing user stories and grooming backlogs
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business requirements documentation
- Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs (JSON or SOAP), data flows, and cross-application dependencies
- Experience working with complex systems and data mapping
- Experience performing impact assessments and coordinating requirements across multiple applications and teams
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and cross-functional discussions
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and release management practices
Desired skills: - Experience supporting Merchant, Payments, Digital Commerce, Rewards, Offers, Marketing, or Customer Engagement platforms
- Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content and digital experience platforms
- Familiarity with API-driven architectures and microservices environments
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications with multiple system integrations
- Banking or financial services experience
- SAFe Agile experience or relevant Agile certifications
- Experience mentoring junior analysts and contributing to BA best practices
Pay range: $46.18 - $54.18 per hour
