Summary

Apple's Hardware Technology Engineering Program Management Team is looking for a resourceful Engineering New Product Technology Project Manager (NPT PM) to drive NPI build management/planning and material readiness for key technologies. Responsibilities will encompass build matrix management, materials forecast and planning, CTB (Clear to Build) analysis and reporting, logistic readiness, budget, procurement, and configuration management activities. Preferred candidate is a strategic problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross- functional teams to communicate changes, analyze risks, and implement complex mitigation strategies in support of engineering development builds.

In this role you will drive NPI build planning activities, which can include handling build matrices for lower-level components/assemblies, building strategic partnerships with internal and external partners, developing risk mitigation plan, and executing issue resolution. You will also run material forecasting and planning with key module and component vendors.

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.\nExperience in supply chain program management to include; build management/planning, material clear to build, and supplier management.

Configuration management and Bill of Material (BOM) experience.\nProficient in Excel or Numbers and capable of learning new software applications quickly.\nEffective reciprocal communication skills (written and verbal).\nStrategic critical thinking and problem-solving skill capabilities.\nStrong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
