Key Responsibilities
Modify existing databases and database management systems
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions; specify database identifiers for management systems
Collaborate within project teams to coordinate database development and define project scope/limitations
Review project requests to estimate time and cost required for completion
Create technical requirements and user stories in DevOps
Coordinate and perform testing of APIs for integration with external vendors and internal teams (for 5G eSIM management)
Work with DevOps, onboard software, backend systems, and dealer system portal teams
Schedule and conduct test sessions with multiple external vendors and internal engineers (including teams in India)
Define ideal processes to leverage new eSIM capabilities and enable new functions for Cat customers
Track progress in DevOps and participate in status meetings
Required Education
Minimum Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)
Acceptable Alternatives:
o Associate's degree + 6+ years of relevant experience
o Master's degree (entry level candidates accepted)
Experience Level: 2 4 years of professional experience (internships count toward this) Required Skills
Writing, implementing, or using REST APIs
Proficiency with Microsoft DevOps (creating user stories, tracking progress)
Basic Microsoft Suite skills (especially Excel)
Knowledge of SQL, VisualBasic, and general computer development software Technical Skills (Desired)
Familiarity with the Comprion test system Soft Skills (Required)
