About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Snowflake and DataBricks Practice Head/ Solution Architect to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake, DataBricks, Teradata, Python along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Architect migration of data analytics environment from Teradata to Snowflake/DataBricks with performance and reliability.
• Assess and understand the ETL jobs, workflows, BI tools and reports
• Must have experience at least two end to end implementation of Snowflake and DataBricks cloud data warehouse
• Based on the findings from the assessment, define a high-level roadmap for migration to Snowflake on Azure along with a future state reference architecture on Azure cloud
• Responsible for end-to-end data analytics design and architecture for Snowflake in Azure.
• Leveraging Snowflake utilities, Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, and Big Data modeling techniques using Python.
• Improve existing data pipelines in cloud for data transformation and aggregation.
• Address a majority of technical inquiries concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture and general feature / functionality of Snowflake
• Setup, configure and deploy Snowflake and DataBricks solutions
• Guide the team to handle configurations for multiple departments / groups within single environment stack.
• Lead data analytics team for implementing the standard methodologies.
• Enable partners to make key decisions with accurate data analysis, reports and presentations of key findings.
• Snowflake Solution Architect with expertise in Design, and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) services and solutions.
• Proven Experience in crafting Database / Data warehouse solutions in cloud (Preferably Azure. Alternatively, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Leveraging advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero copy clone, time travel, and understanding how to use these features
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management

Requirements:

• 10+ years of success in consultative/complex deployment project, architecture, design, implementation and/or support of data and analytics solutions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Hands on experience in consultative/sophisticated deployment project, architecture, design, implementation and/or support of data and analytics solutions
• Complex implementations of Snowflake Data Warehouse
• Hands on development Design and Develop applications using Snowflake
• In depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture including Snow SQL, Performance tuning, Compute and Storage
• Experience in creating tables, partitioning, bucketing, loading and aggregating data using Snowflake
• Experience in handling various client relationships to get consensus on solutions
