Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of a Treasury and Strategic Forecasting Technology team, responsible for end-to-end technology solutions within the Chief Financial Officer organization. The ideal candidate will design and develop components and frameworks in Java, interacting with development and technology partners to derive scalable solutions.
Responsibilities: - Design and Develop components and frameworks in Java in line with development standards and best practices
- Interact with Development and Tech Partners and derive scalable solutions
- Perform Detailed Technical impact analysis and drive strategic solutions
- In line with Agile principles proactively perform robust testing on developed components
- Provide L3 support on a need basis
- Learn new technologies when directed as future development may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
Requirements: - B.E. degree
- 7-10 years of experience
- Hands on experience on Java, SOAP/Restful services, knowledge of Design Patterns, multi-threading, and JPA
- Experience with Spring-boot and various spring modules
- Knowledge on any caching technology (Ignite caching preferred)
- Experience with DevOps tools like BitBucket, Jenkins, JFrog artifactory, Ansible Tower and XL Release to enable CI/CD
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and Unix shell scripting
- Basic SQL Knowledge
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Good Analytical, Debugging and design skills
- Clear, Concise Communication skills, ability to articulate Problem/Solution
Desired skills: - Experience with OpenShift
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
