Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager - IT Software & ServicesThe Indirect Sourcing team connects the organization with the resources required to build and scale next-generation mobility solutions from the ground up. The team manages the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of contracts and strategic partnerships that support business growth and operational excellence.
This Strategic Sourcing Manager will help establish, grow, and scale foundational IT Software and IT Services categories. You will have the autonomy and visibility to act as a true strategic partner, working cross-functionally with IT and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing sourcing solutions that support innovative, large-scale initiatives and complex go-to-market challenges within a highly technical environment.
We are seeking someone who enjoys owning projects end-to-end, diving deep to understand engineering and user experience needs, and partnering closely with stakeholders to solve complex, forward-looking problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and guide internal departments in the procurement of IT software, hardware, and services
- Lead sourcing efforts across CRM, ERP, SaaS, and related technology categories to support operational scale and efficiency
- Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships and procurement opportunities
- Advise stakeholders on supplier selection, performance management, and risk mitigation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through benchmarking, competitive sourcing, and process improvements
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to deliver optimal total cost of ownership
- Ensure a smooth source-to-pay process by partnering with Finance and cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, contracting, and/or supply chain management
- 4+ years of experience sourcing technology categories, including networking hardware, software, services, and related agreements
- Strong strategic sourcing, financial analysis, and contract negotiation skills
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts, including review of redlines and issue resolution
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and the ability to provide thoughtful insights and strategic recommendations
Bonus Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Program Management, etc.)
- Experience in high-tech, autonomous systems, or other safety-critical industries
- Experience working in NPI environments and cross-functionally with PMO or engineering teams
