Job Title: Senior NOC Systems Administrator

Location- Remote

Job Summary:

The Senior NOC Systems Administrator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure from the Network Operations Center (NOC). This role ensures high availability, performance, and reliability of systems and networks, while leading incident response and mentoring junior team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network and system performance using NOC tools and dashboards.
  • Respond to alerts, incidents, and outages, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Manage and maintain servers, networks, and infrastructure components.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during major incidents.
  • Lead escalation processes and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Automate routine operational tasks using scripts and tools.
  • Maintain system configurations, patches, and updates.
  • Document incidents, procedures, and system changes.
  • Mentor and guide junior NOC engineers and administrators.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in NOC, system administration, or network operations.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
  • Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows server administration.
  • Experience in incident management and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
