Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Conduct DFM/A reviews and provide feedback to product development.
• Manage and resolve technical issues during new product introduction.
• Define and implement production control plans for new products.
• Support pilot production runs and ramp-up activities.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation for new products.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret schematics, Gerber files, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, wave solder, and final assembly.
• Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, SolidWorks) and PLM systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing quality.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly for manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices within an industrial control system (ICS) environment.
• Demonstrated ability to script or program for automation tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
