Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position in Chicago, IL. This role involves gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and interpret them for technical teams.
- Liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive reports and documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Engineering Quality Assurance (EQA).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct data interpretation and reporting.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a technical support or analyst role. The candidate must have proven experience in technical analysis and an in-depth understanding of business processes and workflows.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, and Confluence is required. Knowledge of systems and network configurations is also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
