Overview / Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to manage our client's Core HR and Recruiting platforms, focusing on refining the end-to-end employee lifecycle and enhancing the hiring experience. This role will drive automation, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders involved in HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership & Strategy

    • Own the Core HR + Recruiting product portfolio.
    • Define and implement the roadmap across the employee lifecycle: hire, onboard, manage, and exit.
    • Align product strategy with enterprise priorities, including scaling operations, enhancing user experience, and maintaining compliance.
  • Domain Expertise

    • Utilize deep knowledge in Core HR, including worker data, organizational structures, and business processes.
    • Streamline and simplify recruiting workflows from sourcing to hiring.
  • Experience & Journey Design

    • Redesign key touchpoints to enhance hiring manager and candidate experiences.
    • Promote a self-service and automation-first mindset throughout employee lifecycle events.
  • Solutioning & Delivery

    • Collaborate closely with solution engineers and integration teams.
    • Lead the design and prototyping of efficient recruiting workflows and Core HR processes, ensuring scalable and reusable configurations.
  • AI & Automation

    • Drive AI-enabled recruiting efforts through effective screening and matching processes.
    • Develop intelligent workflows, including case management and onboarding.
  • Execution & Governance

    • Own the backlog and prioritize tasks to align with best practices in data governance, security models, and integration standards.
Required Experience & Skills

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in HR Tech, specifically focusing on Core HR and Recruiting.
  • Required expertise in Workday, particularly Core HCM and the Recruiting Business Process Framework.
  • Experience in high-scale, global environments.
  • Strong ability to connect data, process, and employee experience.
Must Haves

  • Experience in Workday implementations.
  • Required knowledge of data governance and security standards.
  • Essential experience in a global HRTech environment.
Desirable / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with additional HR systems and tools.
  • Previous roles in high-visibility product ownership or leadership.
  • Understanding of emerging trends in AI and automation within HR practices.
