Job Title: Okta Architect
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 1+ Years Contract
Description:
- 10 years relevant experience of Okta Integrations: Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Lifecycle Management
- Five (5) years of experience in developing Okta Workflows, IGA, and a minimum of Two (2) years of experience in Okta Identity Governance Administration (IGA)
- Experience with other IAM solutions beyond Okta; Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Deep understanding of identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SCIM and OpenID Connect
- Hands-on experience with Okta API integrations and System Administration
- Implementation of Okta integrations (SAML, OIDC, etc.); Okta Administration and Configuration
- Troubleshooting and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for Okta IGA solutions with application owners and end users
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on Okta best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Configure advanced policies for SSO, MFA, contextual access, and risk-based authentication
- Monitor system health, resolve issues, and optimize Okta performance and reliability
- Developing and maintaining documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures
- Guide and mentor junior engineers on Okta implementation, IAM best practices, and secure design principles
- Qualifications - Okta Certification: Professional, Administrator, Consultant and/or Technical Architect
