Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Firco for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves supporting Firco financial-crime and sanctions-screening applications by partnering with compliance, operations, and technology teams. The position will focus on gathering requirements, analyzing screening processes, documenting solutions, and coordinating testing for production implementations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Firco products, banking payment systems, and AML/KYC processes.
Responsibilities: - Serve as the liaison between business, compliance, operations, technology, and vendor teams
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for Firco applications
- Support Firco products such as Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, Firco Compliance Link, and Firco Global WatchList
- Analyze current screening processes and recommend improvements to workflows, business rules, matching thresholds, and alert handling
- Translate AML, KYC, sanctions, and regulatory requirements into system requirements and user stories
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, use cases, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze payment and customer data used for real-time and batch screening
- Support integrations between Firco, SWIFT, payment platforms, watchlists, case-management systems, and downstream applications
- Coordinate system upgrades, platform enhancements, regulatory changes, and remediation initiatives
- Develop test plans and test cases and coordinate system, integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing
- Validate screening results, alerts, false positives, and data accuracy
- Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution
- Support implementation planning, release validation, training, and post-production activities
- Maintain project documentation, traceability, operational procedures, and audit evidence
- Work within Agile teams and participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and status reporting
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within technology or financial services
- Hands-on functional experience with FircoSoft/Firco applications
- Knowledge of Firco Continuity and transaction or sanctions-screening processes
- Experience with AML, KYC, sanctions, watchlists, financial-crime compliance, or transaction monitoring
- Understanding of payment processing, wire transfers, and SWIFT messages
- Strong requirements-gathering, process-mapping, documentation, and data-analysis skills
- Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience coordinating system testing, regression testing, and user-acceptance testing
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience investigating production issues and coordinating solutions across multiple teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Desired skills: - Banking or large financial-institution experience
- Knowledge of OFAC and other global sanctions regulations
- Experience with Firco Trust, Firco Compliance Link, or Firco Global WatchList
- Familiarity with SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 payment-message formats
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL, APIs, and data-mapping tools
- Experience supporting regulatory audits, application upgrades, or compliance-remediation programs
Pay range: $48.83 - $56.83 per hour
