Top Requirements:4+ years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent through work, consulting, military, education).Strong hands-on experience with Java.Proficiency with React for UI development.Strong SQL skills for database interaction and data manipulation.Working knowledge of Python for scripting or backend support.Plusses:Experience working in enterprise-scale, distributed Software Engineering environments.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering partners.Prior experience contributing to moderately complex initiatives with multiple dependencies.Job Summary:This contingent Software Engineer will support moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives and contribute to large-scale planning across engineering deliverables. The engineer will analyze software engineering challenges, support application development, and collaborate with technology partners to drive solutions that align with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance needs.
The role emphasizes strong coding ability in
Java, React, SQL, and Python, along with the ability to work across multiple engineering teams and contribute to delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions using Java, React, SQL, and Python.
- Participate in moderately complex engineering initiatives and support solution design.
- Review and analyze technical challenges, identifying appropriate solutions or mitigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Support large-scale planning activities and contribution to engineering deliverables.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with engineering standards, procedures, and security requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist with technical documentation and code quality practices.
