Hargrove is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to assist on a 4-6 project identifying and and aiding in creating Lock- Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures for an Agricultural R&D facility.The primary focus would be to help develop Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. The primary locations are in southern MN, Iowa, and Illinois - the ideal candidate would be located in this region with the ability to travel to multiple R&D locations. One site would be a home base and travel to other sites will be covered. Experience with an Argricultural plant is highly referred.
Ideal BackgroundEducation: Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
Registration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge and application of the current version of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to write clear and precise Lock-Out-Tag-Out instructions
- Knowledge of industrial equipment
- Ability to create accurate electrical installation documents from the information found on vendor equipment drawings.
- Ability to determine construction material quantities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good presentation skills.
- Virtual team skills and cross divisional relationships are developed and able to provide interoffice execution support with general supervision.
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
