Job Title: Software Engineer 4 - ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC / McLean, VA / Minneapolis, MN / San Antonio, TX / Chandler, AZ - Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Contract Length: Through 12/15/2026 (no conversion)

Pay Rate: $69 - $74
Top Requirements:
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development (configuration, scripting, and platform support)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, web technologies, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • Plusses:
    • ServiceNow certifications (CSA required, CAD or VR Implementation Specialist preferred)
    • Experience with integrations (Qualys, Wiz, NVD, Checkmarx, etc.)
    • Experience with Agile delivery and REST/SOAP APIs
    Job Summary:

    In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will lead development and enhancement of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response solutions within the Cybersecurity organization, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise implementations. This role focuses on building and supporting ServiceNow-based vulnerability management applications while collaborating across architecture, governance, and engineering teams.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    • Configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) solutions
    • Develop scripts, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow platform tools
    • Design, build, test, and maintain enterprise ServiceNow applications
    • Lead technical initiatives and act as an escalation point for complex issues
    • Troubleshoot platform issues and provide L3 production support
    • Integrate ServiceNow with external tools (Qualys, Wiz, NVD, etc.) via APIs
    • Collaborate with architecture, governance, and engineering teams
    • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, risk, and development standards
    • Document solutions and maintain technical artifacts in Confluence
    • Participate in Agile development cycles and release management
