Linux/TSL Network Engineer
Introduction
We are looking for an entry-level Network Operations Analyst to join our team as a Linux/TSL Network Engineer. This role will involve supporting enterprise network and certificate management operations, focusing on maintaining network reliability and preventing service disruptions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor certificate expiration alerts and manage daily work queues
- Coordinate certificate renewals with application and infrastructure teams
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation through ticketing systems
- Assist with certificate issuance, renewal, and validation activities
- Verify successful certificate installation and configuration
- Communicate updates and escalate risks as needed
- Support network performance monitoring and basic troubleshooting
Requirements
<>Required Qualifications>
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in IT, networking, or infrastructure support
- Basic understanding of TLS/SSL certificates and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows command-line environments
- Experience working with ticketing systems or operational workflows

- Exposure to enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN)
- Familiarity with network technologies such as firewalls, SAN, or QoS
- Understanding of network protocols (e.g., MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay, SONET)
- Experience supporting structured, process-driven operations
